About

Founded in 1963, the University of Essex in England is among the top 25 universities in terms of research quality, according to The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide. At the core of the university's pursuit towards education lies the founding vision of Sir Albert Sloman to learn and research extensively. The institution has one of the most welcoming and vibrant international communities in the world, housing students from over 140 countries. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021 ranked the University of Essex at 22nd position globally for international outlook. The college has three campuses located at dynamic locations invoking student's interest. The Colchester campus is the largest and most diverse among the three. It shares the tranquility of Wivenhoe park, but at the same time, it is buzzing with life as a result of its close proximity with cnema, theatres, gyms, and even a nightclub. The Southend campus is situated in the heart of the thriving town of Southend and is just blocks away from the beach, which is why students are always looking forward to spending more time on campus. The third is the Loughton campus lying at the doorstep of London and serving state-of-the-art facilities to the East 15 Acting School.
