Students meeting the following conditions qualify for applying to the scholarship program: • A graduating high school senior • Having at least 3.0 GPA • Submission of an essay of 500 words on “How you would make the streets of your city) safer”. Note: The essay can discuss anything, including curtailing texting while driving or a dangerous intersection or measures to make it safer for cyclists in the streets. One winner is chosen who receives a scholarship of $2000. (nonrenewable; to be paid directly to college or university admissions office.) Deadline: May 1 Winner is contacted by May 16

The Maison Law Central Valley Community Scholarship is accessible to high school seniors entering college in fall. They must be residents of the central valley or nearby communities.
