During my internship at Schaeffler India Limited, I focused on optimizing operations and implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to reduce
rejection rates of a component called as GEH to less than 1% and streamline the manufacturing function. By analyzing existing processes and utilizing SPC
techniques, I identified critical control points and implemented control charts, process capability studies, and statistical tools. This led to significant reductions in
rejection rates, improved product quality, and financial gains by minimizing rework and scrap materials costs.
