My work: As an active member of the NSS (National Service Scheme) community at our college, which is an integral part of the nationwide government organization, our mission is all about making our society a better place. We roll up our sleeves to organize events aimed at social welfare, contributing to the well-being of our community.
One of our impactful initiatives was a blood donation drive where we set up a camp, encouraging students and staff to donate blood for the benefit of blood banks. Another event we orchestrated was a plantation drive, transforming vacant areas on the university campus into a flourishing small park. During the winter, we collected extra clothes and sheets from generous students and staff, extending a helping hand to those in need through donations.
In a bid to keep our campus spick and span, we organized a cleaning event where we teamed up with the cleaning staff, pitching in to pick up trash and assisting with various cleaning tasks. These initiatives reflect our commitment to creating positive change and fostering a sense of community through the NSS platform.
