Projectscold and decompression therapy for phantom limb pain

we aimed to give two potential approaches to manage phantom limb pain the first one is applying a very cold environment to the amputated limb (affected area) so that the inflammation neuromas that transmit the pain signal to the brain can be numb. in this case we use Peltier module which creates a temperature difference when an electric current pass through it. it allows one side of the module to become cold and the other side becomes hot. we use the cold side of the module for the cold therapy we reached to reduce the temperature until 4 degree Celsius. the decompression therapy prevents vasoconstriction that will be caused by the cold environment. we elevate the machine up to 115 degree so that to improve blood flow to the amputated limb. the project success holds to by giving this therapy machine to the patients and permanently relief the pain.
