The NMDSS, Child Wing aims at providing overall development on morale and personality of the children from age 5 to 16. This program is held every weekend from 11am to 2pm on the premises of our organization. Activities like Public speaking, story writing and reciting, poem writing and reciting, one act plays, skits, dramas, playing musical instruments, singing and dancing are
some of the common activities performed under Literature and Arts whereas cleaning campaign, scouting during festivals, drinking water service are other community work we involve the children in. It aims to built the sense of belongingness in them and nurture their crucial phase of development. We aim to aware them about the current global problems and make them responsible to what can be done to solve them from our initial side. We selflessly intend on inculcating children with good values and help them develop their ideas and hobbies since we know, good children are the future of good tomorrow. I as a coordinator, planned the program every weekend, arranged weekly activities, coordinate with new volunteer every week for each different activities and maintain weekly reports. It was an amazing experience to be part of children and be one of them again. I really love my children.
