Georgia State University holds the title of the first public university in the country for a firm commitment to undergraduate teaching and is ranked the third most innovative university in the US. The institution has six campuses spread across metro Atlanta. The students enrolled at GSU call themselves "Panthers" and strive to promote panther pride throughout their academic course.
