It is meant primarily for individuals who have completed a degree (B.A., M.A., or Ph.D.) in art history, art education, studio art, or museum studies and who are pursuing graduate study or professional placement in these fields or related fields. The required level of training will depend on the host museum and upon the needs of the proposed fellowship project.

Interpretive Art Museum Fellowships for four interns with a stipend of $30,000. One year internship, including interpretation (either as a museum educator or curator) in European art at an American art museum.
