Students are eligible after entering during their first semester as long as they maintain a GPA of 2.5 for Undergrads and 3.1 for Grad students and 25 hours of contribution hours per semester.

The purpose of this scholarship is to award international students who achieve excellent academic performance and cross-cultural understanding, both on-and-off campus. There are some factors established by Minnesota State University, Mankato which need consideration when awarding resident tuition scholarships to international students, who are in proper non-immigrant F-1 and J-1 status.
