Applicable majors: All Applicant must be: 1. Current US citizen 2. High school senior enrolled in an accredited two or 4-year college or university for Winter or Spring term. 3. Must have a most recent GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Award amount: First place: $3000 Second place: $1000 Third place: $500 Application deadline date: May 4th. Awards available: 3 Description: Construct an essay of 500 words or less that answers the questions: "What does self-responsibility mean to you? How does living self-responsibly affect your life? How does avoiding self-responsibility affect your life?" Applications after May 4th, won't be accepted. All the essays will be under review after the contest is closed. The winners of each award will be notified by email on or before May 8th.
